What Movement IQ Is—and Isn't

Learn your body. Build your capability. Think for yourself.

There's no shortage of information about health and fitness.

Training programs. Recovery protocols. Nutrition strategies. Supplements. Wearables. Experts explaining what to do, when to do it, and why.

Some of that information is extraordinarily valuable.

But knowing what someone recommends isn't the same as understanding why it works—or whether it makes sense for you.

Movement IQ exists to close that gap.

What It Is

Movement IQ is a movement literacy platform.

It's designed to help you understand how your body works, recognize where you are today, and develop the knowledge and skills to make better decisions about movement, training, recovery, and lifelong physical capability.

It's informed by science, shaped by more than twenty years of coaching experience, and built around a simple belief:

Understanding changes what you're capable of.

We use articles, analogies, interactive experiences, assessments, and practical tools to make complex ideas understandable and useful.

What It Isn't

Movement IQ isn't another guru to follow.

It isn't a collection of universal protocols, a diagnostic tool, or a score that determines your worth or athletic potential.

And it isn't a substitute for qualified medical care or individualized professional guidance.

It doesn't promise that everything will work for everyone.

Science evolves. Bodies differ. Circumstances change. Good recommendations require context.

The goal isn't to give you more rules to follow. It's to help you understand the principles behind them.

Learn to Navigate

Think of Movement IQ as search and rescue for people lost in the wilderness of health and fitness.

First, we find your blue dot.

Where are you now?

Then we explore where you want to go, what might help, and what you can learn along the way.

But the ultimate goal isn't to keep you following directions.

It's to teach you how to read the map.

Because the more you understand your body, the better equipped you become to make your own decisions, adapt when circumstances change, and continue building capability for life.

Bring your brain. Let's learn what your body can do.
